Product Description

White Rodgers Mercury Flame Sensor; part number 3098-134.  

This flame sensor is designed as a universal replacement for cycle pilot ignition systems.

Replaces sensors used in thermocouple type slip in pilot burners.

The bulb has additional grooves to accept retaining clips/c-rings allowing it to replace most existing sensors.

It is a SPDT (single pole double throw) device, with switchcases designed to plug into cycling pilot gas valves.

It has a 48" Capillary Tube.

This flame sensor should not be used in appliances other than those listed in cross reference.

This item replaces: 3098-1, 3098-111, 3098-127E1, 3098-134, 3098-136E1, 3098-141 and 3098-147 only.

 Complete with installation & wiring instructions.

    This part fixed my furnace. Good thing the temps are in single digits. Te part was new and in a box. My furnace is over 30 yrs old so I was happy to find a part for it. I paid $11 dollars for quicker shipping. It still took 5 days to receive. I blame UPS for this.

    Flame Sensor

    I had two different company's come out and tell me two different things. First company stated I needed a new furnace, second company stated I just needed a new Flame Sensor. I took the chance and purchased the Flame Sensor. Easy to install and my furnace is running like a new one. Always get a second opinion because I just saved several dollars. Thanks, mccombssupply.
